Carrie Lynne Pietig, MA, LPC (512) 799-4875
Welcome
Congratulation on taking the first step in understanding yourself and becoming healthier, happier and more content with your life.
Managing the constant motion in our lives is often manageable and yet sometimes it can be overwhelming and frustrating. A balancing act of responsibilities, self care, parenting, work, and life satisfaction, to name a few. We may be feeling vulnerable, confused, angry, and experiencing stress, anxiety, depression and relationship concerns.
Often we think of these feeling and experiences as negatively impacting our life, when they are really opportunities to address psychological concerns through individual and couples counseling which can results in a higher level of satisfaction and positive motion in our lives resulting in a renewed sense of well being.
As an EMDR Certified Therapist, Certified Gottman Couple Therapist, and solution focused therapist I work with individuals and couples helping them to remove obstacles to achieve a greater sense of fulfillment and satisfaction in their lives. While we can't change the past, we can certainly work together to better understand and resolve challenges. Together we will examine how you have done things in the past, how you see yourself and talk to yourself to identify what is holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life and put a plan together to reach your goals.
I work with couples helping them improve their communication, and promote healing and understanding with their partner. I also work with couples in all stages of their relationship from new couples assessing if they are a good fit for the future; or couples who need help reconnecting and working through perpetual problems that keep arising in their relationship. I have also helped couples who are ending their relationship and want to move forward in a positive, respectful and healthy way. As a Certified Gottman Therapist I have access to extensive tools and understanding to help couples navigate the conflicts over communication, parenting, money, household responsibilities, social life, family and friends that are but a few areas that couples often seek out a therapist to discuss.
Feel free to look over my website and information about my counseling practice. If you think you'd like to follow up with an appointment, give me a call (512) 799-4875 or e-mail me.
